Q&A: printer help?
My dad has a lexmark X 75 that is a printer, fax and scanner all in one, and a gateway comp. The computer says that it is communicating with the printer, and the ink cartrages are full, but when you hit print, it only prints blank pages, help!
go into control panel, then click on it. go to printers, delete that. then turn off the PC. turn it back on then it will recognize the printer install the printer diver again. Warning, if u don’t have the driver, don’t do this.
Can you print a test page?
Try printing from another program, like IE, or Word, or even Notepad. Make sure its not the probram you are using.
Also, how long have the print cartridges been in the printer? They m ight be dried up. If it won’t print a test page, then it might be bad ink cartridges.
